Senior Adult Ministry
As Seasoned Seniors, we have entered a new and wonderful phase of life, with different opportunities. Being well versed in scripture, mature in our Christian walk and committed prayer warriors, the Seasoned Seniors are a powerful “behind the scenes” part of the Cornerstone family. We focus on specific needs we can meet within the church body and on occasion we have guest speakers who suggest different causes we can help support as well.
Our Vision
- Our availability is our best gift to God.
- Our life in Christ should include caring for, and being a blessing to others.
- Our golden years, should shine for the Lord.
- Our prayer life should be both a privilege and responsibility.
Monthly Activities:
Currently our focus is on serving the shut-ins. We do this through our card ministry, phoning, prayer and visiting.
We meet the last Thursday of each month, fill a need within our shut-in community, then afterwards we fellowship together.

But we proved to be gentle among you, as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her own children. Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us.
